Welcome to the Still Water Hollow Chapel!
Built in 1899
1899-early 1950s : The Methodist Episcopal Church South paid for the construction of the building and various denominations gathered inside until the early 1950s
1953 : The chapel was purchased by Albert and Hazel Demeyer and was used mostly for storage.
1993 : The chapel was donated to a nonprofit organization and added to the National Register of Historic Places.
2004 : Lewis and Anne McKellip, who were mint farmers and collectors of antiques and century old buildings, bought the chapel and moved it to its current location on Dean Lane.
2004-2005 : The McKellip’s spent a year restoring the chapel. They refinished the original wood floor, added stained glass windows, and added the 240 pound bell that rings proudly in the bell tower of the chapel.

Enjoy the beauty of our 1-acre crystal clear pond!
On a warm spring day, our 1-acre pond is crystal clear and as calm as glass, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of exotic schools of koi and baby ducklings.
The sound of our gorgeous rock waterfall will be the first thing your guests hear as they arrive to your event.
During the winter, the frozen water transforms the space into a Winter Wonderland.
During the summer months, the water fountain makes the perfect backdrop near the arched bridge and lies just beyond the entrance to the Barn.
A walkway surrounds the 1-acre pond, allowing couples to go on an evening stroll or kids to run and play searching for fish in the crystal blue waters.
As you get ready in the Bridal Loft, French doors open to the balcony that overlooks the pond and the sounds of the peaceful water and the smell of sweet mint from nearby fields will fill the air.
Enjoy the quaint, country village and surrounding cottages!
The Country Village : The Country Village is designed in a circular layout with quaint cottages, charming rustic features, and breathtaking landscape maintained by the family. Custom flower baskets, hollyhocks, and wildflowers grace our grounds from mid-May through October leaving you with stunning backdrops for photos and outdoor receptions. The Country Village includes: The Bridal Cottage, The School House, The Wagon Barn, Authentic Homestead, and The Potting Shed.
The Bridal Cottage : Part of Still Water Hollow's charm is the unlimited options for the design and layout of your wedding. Our couples can dress in the stunning Bride & Groom Suites, or they can use the "Bridal" Cottage for their "getting ready" pictures. This is also a great place to hide away as you prepare to walk down the aisle. We have seen couples also use this space for treats, photo ops, or as a gift gathering area.
The School House : We are a family-run business, and we adore that we are a family and kid-friendly venue. And yes, we even allow your pets to be a part of your wedding experience on a case by case basis. It is hard to say no to an adorable furry "ring bearer". As part of our family-focused venue, we feature a rustic school house perfect for a kid station at your wedding. This is a great area to feature yard games, corn hole, and beverages for the young-at-heart crowd.
The Wagon Barn : The Wagon Barn features two patio areas that make for perfect outdoor dance floor options, head table area, and stage backdrops. It also has a sliding barn door with ivory drapes adding elegance to the barn's weathered wood. We certainly love when a vintage chandelier adorns the entrance to the Wagon Barn.
